We are creating an all new culinary experience by combining Mediterranean cooking with Chef George from Noujaim's Bistro and Coach Wendy Pernerewski from SmartStart Health Coaching. Learn to prepare heart healthy recipes and ways to achieve a healthier lifestyle in this 2+ hour class. Get ready for the ultimate food experience complete with wine, music and a sit down 4 course meal.
You will be immersed into the essence of Mediterranean Lifestyle which has shown to increase quality of life. Chef George Noujaim will lead us through 4 different recipes that will include an appetizer, salad, main dish and dessert. We will cook with primarily plant based foods sourced from local farms such as Swiss House Farm. We will create dishes full of flavor with added spices and fresh herbs, lean proteins, legumes, seasonal fruits and the best in olive oils.
You will have the unique opportunity to engage with Coach Wendy from SmartStart Health Coaching while you're learning to cook healthier. With over 27 years of experience in the wellness industry, she will provide tips, inspiration and motivation on diet, exercise and stress management during the class. Each class will focus on specific health topics like Planning for Success, Goal Setting, Eating on the Run and more.
We will be scheduling our cooking classes on Sunday's from 1-3:30pm. The class is more of a demonstration vs. hands on experience. Class size is limited (10-15) to enhance the culinary experience and provide the best in service to you. Check out the class schedule below. You will be provided with an apron to use during class but please dress casually. The best part of the class will be sitting down and enjoying the meal we just prepared together. Feel free to bring a beverage of your choice for during class as well as for sit down dinner.
